The guitar which is one of the most widely used instruments, is a fretted musical instrument that has six strings. There are many different types of guitars including Acoustic and Electric. The guitar is used in many kinds of musical genres such as, pop, rock, blues, jazz, country, punk, and many more. A person is able to play this instrument by strumming or plucking the guitar strings with one hand while pressing certain strings against the frets of the guitar with the other hand. You are also able to pluck the guitar strings using a guitar pick.

Violin

The violin is also known as a fiddle. It is similar to the guitar because it has strings inorder to played. However, the violin has only four strings and it is mostly played by drawing a bow across the strings. Violin are used to play bluegrass, jazz and country music.

Harp

The harp has a lot of individual strings that it can be played to create the sound. The strings go down at angle towards the sound board and are plucked with the fingers. Some harps can be played standing and others while sitting. The Haro is a very elegant instrument.
